CHERYL ROSS, who lives in Worcester with her fabulous husband Doug, and her 15-year-old son Evan. (Her two older children have moved on.) She is certified in Madd Dog Spinning, and her philosophy is to help each individual reach his or her own fitness goals by creating an atmosphere where people can feel challenged without intimidation.

Cheryl leads a Studio Cycling: Strong Rider program Thursdays at 6 p.m. and Easy Rider on Mondays at 9:30 a.m.

Easy Rider: A lower intensity ride using light to moderate resistance and cadence, Easy Rider is designed for recovery from a tough workout, or to conserve energy for higher intensity workouts later in the week.

Strong Rider: The resistance is cranked up and the cadence slows down, with a hill-climbing, endurance-building power ride. Strong Rider is guaranteed to improve mental stamina in an action-packed trek to the summit! Offered on Thursdays and Fridays in several time slots.
