MARY BETH WOODWARD is a certified Hatha yoga instructor, and a Holden resident. She is also a dancer with a background in tap, ballet, jazz and modern dance. Her yoga philosophy is to encourage students to find inner peace through the body-mind-soul connection that yoga offers.
Mary Beth leads a Power Yoga program on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Focusing on strength and flexibility, Power Yoga features postures that are intended to create a high level of energy and vitality. Balancing strength of body with strength of mind, this safe, yet challenging workout is appropriate for all fitness levels.
